EQUINE FLU UPDATE

Following the recent outbreaks of Equine Flu, Hanbury Countryside Show Society would like to assure competitors that we have sought veterinary advice from our Society vets and have put in place the following procedures to assist with minimising these outbreaks:

  • All pre-entries MUST upload a copy / image of the entered horse(s) vaccination record

  • All pre-entered horse(s) passport & vaccination record must be taken to the Secretaries office on the day of the Show for checking when collecting your number

  • On the day entries (Fun Classes & Clear Round ONLY) - those arriving and entering these classes on the day MUST take their passport & vaccination record to the Secretaries Office on arrival for checking. You will then need to pay for your entries at the Secretaries office (NOT ringside).

Please see the website for full details and keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates ahead of the Show.

REMINDER: Equine Influenza and Tetanus vaccinations are a compulsory requirement for all horses attending the Hanbury Countryside Show. All horses and ponies must have received their first 2 vaccinations with a third booster within 6 months. No horse / pony should enter competitions within 7 days of a vaccination.
