Hanbury Show Granted Charitable Status!
Hanbury Countryside Show has been granted Charitable Status!
We are delighted to announce that the Hanbury Countryside Show Society has been granted Charitable Status. The Society has always run the Show for charitable purposes and we hope this new status will assist us in furthering promotion of agriculture and rural industries. The Show is primarily run for the benefit of the general public; we aim to educate visitors about agriculture, food production, conservation and many related crafts and rural skills.
The Society will launch an educational bursary scheme later this year; its aim will be to encourage and assist learning related to agriculture and associated trades. Bursaries will be issued to students studying at College or University and will be awarded following an application process.
The Society will continue to make donations to the Midlands Air Ambulance; this important charity plays such a vital role in many rural and urban areas and the Show`s organising team wish to maintain a high level of support for many years to come.
The charity number for the Society is 1160102
